Chancellor forms Hokorian Assembly and Territorial Governments

The Chancellor, Willow Cizdeizd I, has formed the Hokorian Assembly and established two new governmental bodies known as ‘Territorial Governments’. The moves are part of their future-ready Hokoria plan.

I have no doubt that these changes to Hokorian democracy and representation will allow the nation to thrive, and will stay with Hokoria for years to come.

Willow Cizdeizd I, Chancellor

Hokorian Assembly

The Hokorian Assembly is established through the Act of the Assembly (2024), an act of law enacted by the Chancellor using the powers earlier given to them by the King in the Royal Order of Efficiency (2024). The Assembly replaced the Council of Representatives, which was dissolved through the repeal of the Act of Representation (2023).

At this time, His Majesty’s Royal Office is working to appoint Members of the Hokorian Assembly as provisioned through the Act of the Assembly (2024).

The change from the Council of Representatives to the Hokorian Assembly has resulted in amendments to how elections work.

Territorial Governments

The State of Hokoria is made up of three territories bordering the United Kingdom (State of Hokoria), Catalonia (Territori Reial de Keraland) and Hong Kong (Royal Territory of Atlantis).

In order to ensure that every territory is given attention by the Government at all times, Governor positions have been established through the Act of Territorial Government (2024).

The King is expected to appoint Governors of Keraland and Atlantis in the coming week. The State of Hokoria’s primary territory will not have a Governor at this time.
