Exterior recognises dissolution of the Cupertino Alliance

The Department of Exterior Affairs recognises that from the 8th May 2024 at 00:00, the Cupertino Alliance is officially dissolved following the Cupertino Alliance Parliament passing the ‘Resolution to Dissolve the Cupertino Alliance’.

The primary delegate of the State of Hokoria to the Cupertino Alliance, Willow Cizdeizd I, released a statement.

The delegation of the State of Hokoria had been in full support of the Cupertino Alliance’s dissolution since it was originally proposed by the Lieutenant Chair, Chris Ramsay.

The Cupertino Alliance was not what it once was, and did not benefit members beyond diplomacy which can be offered elsewhere- despite the amount of effort that has been put in certain delegates (past and present). As an organisation, it was in a position where it was not progressing in the slighest, not to the fault of any particular delegates or administrations (though some certainly had not helped). Systemic problems were to blame.

In regards to the recognition of member nations, although it contradicts policy, the Department of Exterior Affairs will continue to recognise members of the Cupertino Alliance, except for the Empire of Levinia.
