Citizenship and residency are key pathways to become a part of the Hokorian community. The Royal Government of Hokoria is able to provide Citizen status, with plans still being worked on in regards to residency.
Why should I become a citizen?
Citizenship (Citizen status) is a great way to show support to the State of Hokoria’s mission of creating a community from around the world, with the shared goal of doing something great. In the State of Hokoria, citizenship is available to anyone aged 13 or over as according to the Act of Citizenship (2023). This is to ensure that all Citizens are old enough to access our services and that fewer people miss out.
How do I become a citizen?
Applications for International Citizen status can be submitted to the Department of the Interior through the official application form. The application takes less than five minutes and is completely free. The Department of the Interior is not accepting applications for Local (residential) Citizen status at this time.
What happens when I apply?
When you apply for Citizen status, the Department of the Interior reviews your application on behalf of the Monarch. They’ll then decide on whether your application will be approved or denied.

Upon an application being approved, the applicant is assigned a Citizen ID and a province. Citizen Tracking IDs (also known as Citizen IDs) are codes that allow us to securely identify you on our systems and verify you when accessing any official services. Provinces allow us to have a fair representative system, by assigning each citizen to a province so that they may vote and have a Provincial Representative to fight on their behalf.
Citizen status notice
It should be noted that Citizen status in the State of Hokoria does not give you the right to reside within the State of Hokoria’s claimed territory, due to our lack of outright ownership of the territory and a lack of funds. Citizen status is currently ceremonial and provides no benefits other than the accessing of online services and being a part of our community.
